THE EVENT

To be held at the Pemberton Mill Hall located at 15 Brockman St, Pemberton from 5:30pm on Friday 16 October until 12 noon on Sunday 18 October. There will be some pre- and post-conference photoshoots and tagalong tours.
The results of the WAPF Interclub/PrintWest photographic competition will be revealed during the Saturday conference dinner and finalists’ prints will be on display throughout the conference. Other features will include product displays by our sponsors, an Epson print station and an auction of prints by renowned local photographers.

WORKSHOPS

Workshops sessions will be held on Saturday at 9am and and repeated at 3pm. Group numbers will be limited to 15 or 20 per workshop. We will endeavour to give everyone their first choice but this cannot be guaranteed and priority of application will count so please note your preferences in order from the list below. These workshops are included in your ticket price. They are:

2. Landscape and the Power of Simple with Tony Hewitt

3. Environmental Portraits with Seng Mah

4. Wild Pemberton Macro with Wendy Eiby and Margaret Taylor Jakobson

5. Birds of the Southern Forests with Christine Wilder and Brad Keyser

6. The Art of Seeing Available Light with Johannes Reinhart

 

THE COST

The conference fee is $200 pp with an early-bird rate of $185 if paid before 31 August. This fee includes:
Up to two workshops on Saturday,
All talks,
Friday evening function
Friday night astrophotography shoot,
Saturday breakfast, lunch, teas and the evening dinner,
Sunday breakfast and morning tea,
Optional pre- and post-conference activities at no additional cost.

 

ADDITIONAL ACTIVITES

If there is sufficient interest it is planned to conduct 4WD tagalong photoshoots before and after the conference program as follows:

Friday 9am-4pm - D'Entrecasteaux National Park
Sunday 5pm - Salmon Beach Sunset Photo Shoot
Monday 8:30am-4pm - Northern Jarrah Orchids and Wildflowers

Note that these are not catered and attendees must be self-sufficient but some car-pooling may be arranged.

PAYMENT AND REFUND POLICY

Payment for this event can be made by Paypal or Credit Card. If you are paying by credit card please have your card ready to enter details BEFORE proceeding further or the booking form may time out and you will have to re-submit which may create a duplicate booking.
A 95% refund is applicable for any cancellations advised to the WAPF Treasurer before 2 October 2020. From 3 October to 10 October inclusive a 50% refund is applicable.
In the event that the conference has to be cancelled due to Covid-19 regulations the WAPF will absorb unavoidable costs up to the amount of its sponsorship. Attendance fees will then be refunded pro-rata after deducting any remaining unavoidable costs from the collected fee pool.
